Lezley Zen

Lezley Zen is a part Irish, part Cherokee pornstar who comes from Charleston, South Carolina and has super high arched feet. She is a Pisces by the zodiac charts and has brunette hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos on her body including a black stallion on her left shoulder blade, a small lightning bolt on her tailbone, the word “Faith” around her left ring finger and a Chinese character on the back of each ankle. This film was followed by a performance in the 2001 movie “April In January” from Jill Kelly Productions. She has one of the best high arched feet in porn industry.

In an interview that Lezley gave several years into her career she speaks about how and why she got into the adult industry. According to her, she had worked up to 120 hours per week managing restaurants for a solid decade and yet was only grossing about $1,200 per week. A big motivating factor for her to stay in the business was the much better money for much less stressful work. Interestingly though she says that she first tried out to be a porn performer just to spite her fiance. Ms. Zen says that at this point in her career all of her friends and family know what she does for a living and will sometimes contact her when they see her in a movie or magazine. None of them were surprised that she found her way into the adult entertainment industry either.

When it comes to her own work in porn movies, Lezley does watch her own scenes especially if they have some acting, such as in feature movies. She wants to always critique herself and try to improve for the next film. Also, the larger companies that she tends to work for will send her copies of the movies as they hit the market which is helpful since at some times she appeared in more than 40 movies in only a few months time span. It can be difficult at times to even recall all of the titles when the work comes so frequently according to her. She does watch most of her acting parts which many performers don’t do. As for her sex scenes she really doesn’t need to watch that, she is a natural born exhibitionist and the gonzo style sex scenes don’t require any acting whatsoever. Asked if she would like to pursue a career in mainstream acting, Lezley Zen says absolutely. In fact at the time she had recently done auditions for one of the CSI television shows. She has also worked in several late night softcore projects on both HBO and Cinemax. She has hopes that this work could lead to a role in a movie. However she does remain realistic and knows that she’s one of a great many adult performers who hope to break into mainstream movies and / or television. With her professional presence and intelligence she has never run into a mainstream casting director who tried to brush her off as “just a pornstar” either.

Lezley Zen has received several adult industry awards since her debut including the 2002 AVN Award for Best New Starlet and four XRCO Awards. In 2005 she won the AVN Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the film “Bare Stage” as well. In 2006 Lezley retired from the adult industry in order to pursue those mainstream acting gigs only to return again full time in 2010. She performed in several films for the studio Bluebird Films at the time, such as “Catlicks” which featured performers wearing cat masks.

Still actively performing in adult movies, Lezley Zen has brought her total number of film credits up to 255 as of 2013. Although not too active on social media she does have an official Twitter account where she posts pictures and tweets about her day. She would like to make use of her business degree within the adult industry before she ever thinks of retiring again.
