The nickname came first. Long before the magazine covers, the international shoots, and the ten thousand Instagram followers, there was just a girl from Tonbridge with unusually large brown eyes that photographers kept noticing. Someone called her Bambi Eyes. It stuck. Now it is how the modelling industry knows her — and how this community found her.

Her name is Nicola Lucy. She is 26, from Kent, and she has been in front of cameras for a decade.

Ten Years in Front of the Camera

Nicola started modelling at sixteen as something to do on weekends. She had no particular plan and no expectation that it would become anything more. It became everything. By the time she went full-time, she had already accumulated enough experience to know exactly what she was doing — and photographers who have worked with her consistently note the same thing: she does not need direction. She reads a space, understands a brief, and moves through it with the kind of fluency that usually takes years of agency training to develop.

She is based between Kent and London, works across the UK and travels internationally for bookings. Her portfolio covers fashion, lingerie, swimwear, and editorial — published in multiple magazines, several covers among them. A small tattoo on her right wrist is the only mark on otherwise clean skin, and it is easily covered when a client needs it that way.

Long platinum-blonde hair. Olive skin that photographs warm in natural light. The brown eyes that gave her the name she goes by — large, direct, and with that quality of intensity that makes a photograph worth looking at twice. 

The Body That Makes Sense of the Feet

At 5'6'' and 46 kg, Nicola has a petite frame with proportions that skew long — particularly in the legs, which read taller than her height would suggest. This is the build that editorial fashion favours: compact enough to be photogenic in close-up, elongated enough to carry a full-length shot.

The feet are size EU 37.5 / US 6.5, which on legs of her length creates a particularly clean visual termination. She shoots barefoot frequently — not only in foot-specific content but in general modelling work, including the aerial hoop sessions that have become part of her professional range. In that context, the high arch appears simply as part of how she moves: the foot pointed naturally, the instep raised, the sole barely making contact when she stands on her toes between poses.

It is the kind of arch that is not performed. It is just there.

On Location and at Home

Nicola works comfortably in both studio and location settings. The poolside shot from what appears to be somewhere in the Canaries — long legs, low light, barefoot on sun-warmed tiles — captures something that the studio work does not always show: she is equally at ease outside the controlled environment as inside it. The arch is visible in the natural standing position, the toes relaxed against the ground, the heel slightly raised.

Photographers who have worked with her describe her as professional, punctual, good to be around, and genuinely creative once a concept is established. She takes direction when it is offered and initiates when it is not. It is a combination that makes her unusually easy to book for a second time.
